1. Scope
1.1 These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders for goods (in particular books) placed through our online shop.
1.2 A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession.
2. Offers and Conclusion of Contract
2.1 The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer.
2.2 By clicking "order with obligation to pay", the customer submits a binding offer.
2.3 The contract is concluded as soon as we confirm the order by email or dispatch the goods.
3. Prices and Shipping
3.1 All prices are in euros and include statutory value added tax.
3.2 Shipping costs are shown separately during the order process.
3.3 Delivery is made within Europe.
4. Payment
4.1 Payment is made via the payment methods offered in the shop.
4.2 Payment processing via: Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. Dublin, Ireland Stripe's terms apply.
5. Retention of Title
The goods remain our property until full payment has been made.
6. Warranty
The statutory provisions under Austrian law apply.
7. Liability
7.1 We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence.
7.2 For slight negligence only in the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations.
7.3 No limitation in case of injury to life, body, or health.
8. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have a right of withdrawal as follows:
Withdrawal Instructions
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you, took possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us:

by means of a clear statement (e.g. email or letter) of your decision to withdraw from this contract.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the communication before the period has expired.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days.
For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back.
You must return the goods without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days.
You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

10. Final Provisions
10.1 Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
10.2 The contract language is German.
10.3 The place of jurisdiction is the company's registered office, to the extent permitted.
10.4 We are not obliged to participate in any dispute resolution proceedings.
